Our Story

Born from a belief that care homes can be beautiful

Ivorylane Healthcare Interiors was founded on one simple belief: thoughtfully designed interiors have the power to improve people’s everyday lives.

We specialise in creating beautiful, practical environments for the healthcare sector, combining timeless design with a deep understanding of how spaces influence comfort, wellbeing and quality of life. Whether we’re designing a luxury care home, a specialist rehabilitation facility or supported living accommodation, every project begins by understanding the people who will use the space.

Our approach is highly personal. We take the time to understand every client’s vision, creating interiors that are not only visually beautiful but genuinely enhance the experience of residents, visitors and staff. Every project is different, but our philosophy remains the same—to create spaces that feel welcoming, thoughtful and, above all, like home.

Meet Our Principal Interior Designer

At the heart of Ivorylane is our Principal Interior Designer, whose career has been shaped by a passion for creativity, craftsmanship and beautifully considered interiors.

Originally graduating in Textile Design, with further qualifications in Art History, Fine Art, and Art & Design, her creative journey began with a fascination for colour, pattern and the way thoughtfully chosen materials can completely transform the feeling of a space. That foundation continues to influence every project Ivorylane delivers today.

Her career has taken her across the world, working on prestigious commercial interior design projects throughout the USA, including Las Vegas and Chicago, as well as Paris and Dubai. Collaborating with internationally recognised design teams on luxury hospitality and commercial environments provided invaluable experience, establishing the timeless design principles, attention to detail and uncompromising quality that define Ivorylane today.

Alongside commercial interior design, textile design has always remained an important part of her creative identity. Designing original surface patterns and bespoke products has developed a unique understanding of texture, colour and materiality, bringing an additional layer of creativity to every interior scheme.

Over the past decade, her focus has become increasingly centred on the healthcare sector, where she discovered something far more meaningful than simply designing beautiful spaces.

She found a way to use her creativity and experience to make a genuine difference to people’s everyday lives.

Working closely with care providers, healthcare professionals and specialist operators has shown how thoughtfully designed environments can promote wellbeing, encourage independence, reduce anxiety and create a greater sense of comfort for residents, families and staff alike. Knowing that great design can positively influence how people feel is what continues to inspire every project undertaken by Ivorylane.

One thing that has never changed is a commitment to continuous learning. As healthcare design continues to evolve, so do we. In September 2026, our Principal Interior Designer will begin postgraduate study in Design for Dementia at the University of Stirling, further strengthening Ivorylane’s commitment to creating evidence-based environments that support people living with dementia and those who care for them.

Every colour palette, fabric, piece of furniture and finishing touch is carefully considered with one purpose in mind—to create environments where people feel comfortable, respected and truly at home.
