Luxury Care Home Reception Design
First impressions matter, especially in a care environment. For this project, we created a welcoming reception and collection of elegant lounge spaces that feel more like a luxury hotel than a traditional care home. Rich navy tones, warm walnut furniture and beautiful brass detailing come together to create a calm, reassuring atmosphere that immediately feels like home.
The Brief; Designing a Reception That Reflects a Brand
Every care provider has its own personality, values and vision, and we believe their interiors should reflect that from the moment someone walks through the door.
For this project, we were commissioned to design the reception and key communal spaces for a luxury care home, creating an environment that aligned with an established care group’s brand identity. Our role was to interpret the brand into a physical space, designing interiors that felt instantly recognisable while delivering a warm, welcoming experience for residents, visitors and staff.
Taking inspiration from the group’s colour palette and design language, we introduced rich navy tones, warm walnut finishes and elegant brass detailing to create a timeless, sophisticated interior. The result is a space that feels refined and luxurious, while still offering the comfort and familiarity that are so important within a care setting.
The reception was designed to create a lasting first impression, setting the tone for the rest of the home. From there, the design flows naturally into beautifully appointed lounge areas, where bespoke furniture, layered lighting and carefully selected accessories encourage residents to relax, socialise and feel completely at ease.
Throughout the project, every detail formed part of one cohesive design story. Statement joinery, feature mirrors, decorative lighting and thoughtfully chosen artwork work together to reinforce the brand, creating interiors that feel elegant, welcoming and unmistakably residential.
Even the visitor facilities were designed with the same attention to detail. By carrying the materials, finishes and styling throughout the scheme, we created a seamless journey where every space feels connected to the overall vision.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was translating a brand into an experience. Rather than simply incorporating colours or logos, we created interiors that communicate the care group’s identity through carefully considered materials, lighting, textures and furnishings. The result is a welcoming environment that leaves a lasting first impression while providing residents with a place that truly feels like home.
Good branding isn’t just something you see—it’s something you experience. Our role was to bring the care group’s identity to life through materials, colour, lighting and carefully considered interior design.
